Presented by the St Jude’s Organist Allan Beavis, the program is based upon popular and seasonal hymn tunes beginning with the well-known Easter hymn “Thine be the Glory” and ending with “Jesus Christ is risen today”. “Thine be the Glory” is sung to a tune by Handel and this has been “paraphrased” by the 19th Century French Organist Alexandre Guilmant.

The concluding work is a Toccata by the flamboyant American Organist Diane Bish. Other works include Bish’s arrangement of the Spiritual ‘Were you there when they crucified my Lord?” and two arrangements by the former Organist at the Chrystal Cathedral in California, Frederick Swann.
