Organ and Viola at Midweek Lunchtime

Recital in St Jude's Bowral

Renowned Viola player Nicole Forsyth will perform with her Organist father, James Forsyth, at the Midweek Lunchtime Recital in St Jude's Bowral on Wednesday 2 June commencing at 1.15pm. The program includes a Sonata for Viola by Telemann, some “Salon Pieces” for Viola and Organ solos by Bliss, Purcell and Archer.

 

Nicole Forsyth has an enviable reputation as a freelance viola player and performs with major Australian Orchestras such as the Sydney Symphony and a number of chamber ensembles. James Forsyth is an active member of the committee of the RSCM in NSW and was formerly a lecturer in Music at the Australian Catholic University as well as a church organist and recitalist.
