Care & Teaching of Children:

In addition to CubbyHouse, there are three programs which cater specifically for the care, teaching, and nurture of children in the Church.   The co-ordinator of the children's work is Mrs. Trish Roberts, phone 02 4862-5395.
CubbyHouse.
Cubbyhouse is a play group of St Jude's, for naught to five year old children and their carers.   The play group meets on Mondays during school terms between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the church hall.

10:45 Children's morning tea, songs, story time & craft
11:15 Outdoor playtime
12:00 Finish

Morning tea for mums, dads, grandparents and carers is provided each week by members and friends of Mothers Union, Bowral.

Visitors are welcome and a brochure which contains more information is available.

Children's Church Programs:
Children's Church operates under the name of K@CH - Kids at Church and runs in parallel with the 9.45 a.m., 10.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. worship services.  K@CH caters for pre-schoolers to year 6 in the morning services and kindy to year 6 in the evening service.   Each group offers a mix of games, craft and Bible stories.   The children normally attend the first part of the service with their parents and rejoin them during the last 5 minutes of the service.

There is also an annual Christmas Eve Pageant (Term 4).     Go to What's on for details.
Cebs - Anglican Boys Society:
Cebs caters for boys from
Year 1 to Year 5.   The boys enjoy games, craft activities, and Bible teaching, and meets in the Church Hall every Monday afternoon in school term from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.   The contact person is Brian Barham, telephone 02 4862 1052.
GFS - An Anglican Ministry (for girls):
GFS similarly caters for girls from Year 1 to Year 5, providing games, craft, cooking and Bible teaching.   It meets every Friday during school term from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.   The leaders are Derani Withers and Alison McCann.   For more information contact Alison McCann on 02 4871 1601.

Training Youth:

Jonathan Clare, the Parish Assistant Minister, co-ordinates Cebs, GFS and the Core which meet to provide both fun and clear spiritual direction to the youth of St Jude's.

the_core is for those in years 6-12, but in 2 groups.

      the_core is Friday nights,
            Years 6-9 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
            Years 10-12 from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

            the_core meets at St Jude's church hall

Student
Bible Study Group

Sup, a Bible study group for students in years 10-12 meets fortnightly during school term.

Where:   St Jude's Parish hall, Bowral

When:    Every second Sunday after the 5:30 p.m. service
             (about 6:45 p.m.).
