Missionary Support:

St Jude's actively supports five families or individuals working overseas in medical work, relief work, education, evangelism and Christian broadcasting.

We support these people and organisations through praying for them regularly and through financial aid and other material gifts.

The missionaries currently linked with St Jude's are:

Mr Bruce & Mrs Marsha Blackbell workingin Lima Peru with SIM Australia, to train Pastors and church leaders.     For information on SIM Australia go to www.sim.org Click on Where we serve, then South America, then Peru.

Dr Andrew & Mrs Stephanie Browning at a unit of the Fistula Hospital in Bahidar, Ethiopia. Andrew also trains other medical staff.

Pastoral Care:

The members of St Jude's seek care for each other (and those outside the church) pastorally, as well as spiritually.

This is often done within the Home Groups where people can see the needs of others in the group and provide practical, emotional and spiritual support

There is also a Pastoral Care Team which aims to attend to the needs of people within the Parish in the following ways:

This team aids and enhances the work being carried out daily by the clergy of St Jude's.

During the month of July, the Mission Aid Group are collecting for Baby Gift Packs for babies of the church workers in Tanzania: Pack are made up from the list below. Can you contribute one or more of thee items? They can be left at the church office.
