Katoomba Men’s Convention
Friday Night and Saturday – February 24-25

Hi-ho, hi-ho, it’s off to work we go......

How do YOU go to work? Is it a joy? Do you find fulfillment, meaning and purpose in your work? Is it a drug, an addiction maybe to the cost of other good things? Or is work a pain - something to be simply endured?

Whatever your experience of work, mkc 2012 will be a great opportunity to join Gary Millar and Paul Grimmond in unpacking what work means for God and the Christian man.

This year we have chosen the weekend of February 24-25 to go as a group. Group accommodation in a rented home has been organised at a cost of about $50 pp for the Friday night. Registration for the conference costs $70. Total cost - $120. (We can also help with transport for those who may need it.)

Please contact Matthew Brooks-Lloyd (0404 329 096) by January 29 to ensure your accommodation. Matthew will also explain how you can register for the conference.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to gather with thousands of other Christian men for a weekend of great fellowship.

Easter 2012

Good Friday will be on 6th April and Easter Day on 8th April.
To help us prepare for Easter, Vic Roberts’ message will be on The Meaning of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection and the application of those two dramatic events to us as Christians today.

Two of our members will also give input. Keith Huxham will share on the
subject - What does Jesus’ death mean to me?

Neville Street will share on the subject: What does Jesus’ resurrection mean to me?

Breakfast:
Breakfast will be served at 8.45 am in the Church Hall.
If you are coming to Breakfast please RSVP, for catering purposes, to either
Alex Grosmann, 4861 3454; or Trevor Martin, 4861 7708.
